The Zebra Jumper

It is a sad good-bye, but I think  it is time to retire the Zebra Jumper.

It has been a beloved favorite of both girls.  There was a time when Chloe would only wear jumpers.....no dresses, no skirts, no shorts, no pants,.....just jumpers.

And Callista just likes things that are soft.  This dress is furry, like a Zebra, and so she has worn it at every opportunity she could, begging for it every single Sunday!!!

May the next little girl who inherits this zebra love it as we have loved it !

Wanted!

This man is wanted for growing facial hair while at a week long conference in Florida with 4 of his colleagues.
If found, please advise him to shave immediately!

Mother's Day

Mother Dear I Love You So!
I never tire of hearing that song.  Especially when they keep singing it all day long.  Although Callista knew it was some sort of a special day, but just couldn't keep it straight.  Chloe and Ryan would periodically say "Happy Mothers Day", and Callista would come over to me, hug me, and say "Happy Birthday Mommy".  Close enough, I think!

The tradition in our house for Mother's and Father's Day is to get something from the kids that we can do with the kids....thus.....TWISTER.  We laughed and giggled all night as we all tried to twist around each other.  Thanks guys, for a great Mother's Day!!!!

This poem was written by Chloe, just for me!
I think it's funny she would describe me as a good cook because she NEVER eats what I cook, so how would she know?????

And this card was from Callista...."Look Mommy....that's you, and it's raining lollipops."
If you are wondering why there are 4 circles on the head, she told me it was my 2 eyes, my nose, and my belly button.  Of course, how did I not know that!

Mother's Day Tea Party

Today was Ryan's Pre-school's Mother Day Tea Party.  I love these events.  The kids are so very proud of their accomplishments and even prouder to have you there.  I was actually surprised that Ryan even sang the song! Usually he just stands their shyly smiling, completely embarassed.

It was especially nice that Amy got to "break out" of the hospital for 6 whole hours.  I picked her up at 11:00 AM and we went straight to our tea where Elsa got to share her time with Mom too!

Thanks Ryan.....and I Love You Too!!

"Hand Me Downs"

It's no secret that I am not too fond of hand me downs.  I found great joy in finding things that fit each personality because they are both so different.  There are very few things that I have kept of Chloe's to pass onto to Callista, but this sweet dress from a boutique in Hilton Head, SC  is one dress I did keep.  I think its a tie which sister looks cuter in it, don't you???

Callista Gwen *** 3 yrs and 4 months

Chloe Catherine *** 3 years and 3 months

Grandma Shupe and Ryan look great too...of course!
