In Loving Memory....

On Tuesday June 23rd, 2015 my Dad, Robert Wayne Patterson passed away at 11:36 am in Las Vegas, NV.  He had a massive heart attack on Sunday June 21 while my Mom was helping him into his bed.  He became non-responsive and she administered CPR while calling 9-1-1.  After the ambulance arrived, they rushed him to Mountain View Hospital.  They put him on life support right away.  After running many tests to check for brain activity, it was determined that there was none.  On Tuesday morning my Mother made the decision to take him off life support.  He passed away approximately 90 seconds later.  My Mom says he was very peaceful when he went.  She was surrounded by her best friend JoAnn Dean and JoAnn's daughter (family friend) Katie.  How I wish I had been there to say good-bye.  I am just so grateful that I was able to go to see him in May and spend a few days with him.  He was a wonderful Father and I miss him dearly.  Here are a few highlights of his services that took place on Monday June 30, 2015.

Most people say rest in peace, but not me....I know my Dad is working hard and teaching Temple Prep classes to all his ancestors so we, his legacy, can go do their work for them.  I love you Daddy....Till We Meet Again.

Happy Father's Day

We had a such a great day pampering Paul for Father's Day.  We made him waffles with fresh berries for breakfast, panini sandwiches for lunch, Crescent Roll Casserole for dinner, with Baked Alaska for dessert.  As gifts....we got him some gear for our next adventure to Texas.
Callista had made him this adorable clip board at activity day and then she chose a picture to print and clipped it on for him!
Happy Father's Day Honey!

Webelo!

It's official!  Ryan has earned his Webelo award from cub scouts.  Now he's set to work on his "Order of the Arrow".  It was a great night.  I'd be lying if I didn't admit that I was afraid he was going to poke me....but he used his awesome scouting skills, and VERY carefully pinned me.

Brother Darrin Sims has been a caring leader and trusted friend to Ryan.  We have appreciated so much all the time and effort he has put into helping Ryan be successful in scouting.  Thanks Darrin....and Great Job Ryan!
