An evening with Uncle Jason

While it was unfortunate for his wife and kids, we had the priveledge of having my brother Jason with us for an evening.  We had a great time.  He was the one who really got our kids hooked on the Wii last Christmas, so it was no surprise that as soon he got in the car they started in on him, "Will you play the Wii with us".  Chloe had been practicing her swordplay so she could "take him down".

Callista was not quite sure what to think of him,as she is VERY leary of anyone but her Mom and Dad.  He won her over though by reading a few books. 

 There are many words to describe my brother, but the one that stood out the most last night was

 GOOFY!!!!

 They are trying to be very serious, but the kids just couldn't stop giggling.

 He got Paul hooked on a new app for his phone, a game no doubt.....something about birds!

 Any resemblence????

Father and Sons

One of the highlights of every year for Ryan is the Father and Sons Campout.  This year is was up by Julian on Nov 5-6.  They were smart though....instead of camping out in the cold....they blew up the air mattress, folded down the seats in the Expedition, and slept in the car.  They were the only warm ones there!

Happy Halloween

Since Halloween was on Sunday this year, we got to celebrate on Saturday at the Trunk-or Treat sponsored by the three wards that meet in our building.  The kids had a great time, as usual, and loaded up on lots of candy!

 We have the tradition of decorating our own Halloween Trick or Treating Bags.  The kids choose their color of bag, then print off a picture to color, then paste it on the bag, then add Jewels, Glitter, Stickers, etc, and then fill it with candy.
