This year went by a little too fast. Three separate events happened to celebrate the closing of this chapter in our life.
First was a fancy dinner honoring the University of Texas Residents and Fellows at the Hotel Zaza, downtown Houston.
These 4 guys became great friends over this past year.
Jason Griffin, Omar Perez, Josh Griffin, (Dr. Harner, the research Professor), and Paul.
I won't lie.....it was fun getting dressed up and going somewhere fancy.
The next event was not as fancy, but at a local wine bar called Celcius 313. It was a casual event where all the guys were presented with their Texans footballs.

Our last event was the kids wanting to have a celebration of our own, so we surprised Paul with tickets to see Wicked. No words can describe how spectacular that was....the kids are still singing their favorite pieces from it.
It was a "wickedly" awesome night. Thanks Paul for working so hard to provide for our family, and best of luck in your new job at UT Health, Memorial Hermann.
