Ryan has worked super hard since last June when he earned his Webelo to accomplish the tasks needed to earn his Arrow of Light. Our troop put on a wonderful ceremony honoring him and his buddy Jake who both earned their awards.
Kyrsten Crawford and Colby Greene read the story of how the Arrow of Light came to be and I was very enlightened. The arrow was lit on fire and flew through the night sky to light the path needed. Their arrows are symbols for these boys to follow their own personal arrows of light to achieve their life long goals.
I got to present Ryan with his award....
...but more scary was him pinning on me my award!
Ryan and Jake
This is Linda Eccles, an amazing woman who has devoted much of her life to the cub scout program and made these arrows for the boys.

I would be lying if I didn't mention how proud Paul and I are of Ryan...he's worked really hard to achieve this (and let's be honest...Paul worked really hard on this too)!
